“What Reviewers Want: Get Inside One Reviewer’s Mind” is a booklet written by D.L. Graham, a reviewer as well as self-published author. It was written to help those venturing into self-publishing to make informed decisions on how to spend their money wisely, in order to produce a quality e-book, and avoid costly mistakes.
Written in an informal, helpful manner, dispenses advice and ideas on book covers, editing and much more. Links to people and their websites who can help you to produce a quality eBook are included. You want your book read, you need reviewers to see it as one of the best books they’ve read, follow these guidelines and at the very least, you’ll have reviewers ready to consider it for review. Just remember, reviews are subjective opinions.
Remember, always put out your BEST work. Self-publishing doesn’t have to burn a hole in your wallet, but you will get what you pay for. Don’t skimp on the important things.
This is one book I wish I’d written myself. As a reviewer I believe the advice is invaluable. ~The Rebecca Review
Broken Pieces of Me: An Abuse Story of Healing and Hope by D. L. Graham
Broken Pieces of Me is the true life memoir of a woman who was born into abuse and the years she lived in fear due to Child Sexual Abuse, and as an adult, due to Domestic Violence by not one but two different partners. One was male. One was female. Broken Pieces is also a story of healing and hope. Ms. Graham shares different stories within that show how healing and hope was found at some of the darkest times of her life.
This book is scheduled for a possible Winter 2012/Spring 2013 Release.
The Masks I Wear by D. L. Graham
The Masks I Wear is a collection of original poetry written by D. L. Graham. Many of the poems were written in her teen years while dealing with severe child sexual abuse, rape and incest. This is part of the healing and hope that Ms. Graham found during those dark years.
Some of the poems found within were published on line at one time through a private blog, but to the best of my recollection, no further copies of those remain in public. The rest of the poems are never before seen or read.
Scheduled for Winter 2012/Spring 2013 release.
